    ricoh 2075 under toning

Hi i'm new to the forum, could anyone help me. I have a Ricoh 2075 that keeps under toning after approx 1000 copies. I force toner supply and reset TDC and it always under tones again.

    Thanks in advance

If you cheat the front door does the bottle actually turn as it's trying to add toner? Can you hear the toner add clutch click as it tries to move the auger in the sub hopper? Are you getting good readings from the sub hopper piezo sensor? Could be the toner add clutch has failed in the developer unit drive pack. Only down side is, you can't get the clutch on it's own, it's a complete assembly.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

can you clarify what you mean by reset tdc? because you only run that once when dev is replaced.

Once i have toned the dev back to a reasonable black density, surely to try and retain that density you must give the machine a voltage reference. All I can think of doing is to carry out initial toner sensor density sp 2801

Ok for a start new bag of dev. You only run that once and when it's a fresh bag of dev. Then run Id settings in 3 something can't remember what off hand then print off an smc 5990 1 all then non default to check nothing's been altered.
