    Re: MPC3502

I am basing this on my experience with the MPC4500 range, as I have not had this on the MPC3502 yet. Whenever I have had your problem, it has been IHT board that controls the fuser being at fault. On this machine it looks from its location the part catalog it is now called the AC control board. D144 5197. Just replacing the fuse, for me, usually results in a big bang and the power supply blowing. Then the two have to be fitted together. As a precaution I usually end up replacing the two anyway. You do not know if any damage has occurred when the fuse blew. It would be worth checking the fuser over in case there is something causing the AC control board to fail.
