    [Misc] Scanner not Ready

    Ricoh MPC3000
    Setup Scanner to folders as requested by customer.
    However the scanner not greening up. The start button stays red. The only way to get this going it to do a full power cycle or open the tools/select scanner settings/exit. After hours. It goes back to the same status again, scanner not ready. How to make it ready all the time when they needed.
    Please help . Thanks.

      I'd try reseating the SD card, failing that I'd try a new card.

          Or try updating the scanner firmware. It's an outside chance but probably worth a go.

          Are you getting any other errors on the machine, such as SC codes? I'm thinking a dicky hard drive (or a hardy dick drive) perhaps.
