RICOH MP 161,171 and 201 SPF Scan to folder Win 8

Hi,
I can't set the scan to folder on win. 8,although they are all setup as win. 7.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

There is currently no plan to update this model with newer firmware to support Windows 8. So, no.

Maybe in the future, if we are lucky.

Do you know who models Ricoh support scan to folder on win 8?

Only the newest models and even those are sparce. The big issue is Win 8 uses SMB 3.0 instead of 2.0 which is what Ricoh MFP's support. There is firmware for a lot of the copiers out there for this update. For this model there is to be temporary firmware coming out soon but thats all I can say.

At this point I found a temporary solution, installed FTP software and set the scan to FTP.
