Wow, an 850, not seen one of them in quite a few years.
Vac out the toner supply pipes that run from the intermediate tank up to the dev unit via the attraction pump, also vac out the toner transport coil that runs from the toner bank up to the intermediate tank and check that it isn't bound up on itself.
With all of this empty prime the system and check that you can see the big transport coil turning and can see toner being sent up from the bank, if you don't see toner but the coil turning then you most likely have a problem with one or both of the toner bottle chucks inside the toner bank. If the coil doesn't turn then either the coil is damaged and binding up inside the pipe or the clutch that drives it is bad.
If you can see toner gets to the intermediate tank but the machine still calls for toner then it's likely you have a problem with the attraction pump or the toner hopper clutch.Comment
