Savin MP301SPF: Disable Fax Machine Noises?

    Forums,

We currently have all noises on our machine set to off. However, the fax machine modem still makes noises when sending and receiving faxes.

Please advise on how to disable these sounds.

    Thanks,

    Justin

Search the operator guide for "volume". It'll tell you in there.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

unplug the speaker on the fax board.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

          Really?
Unscrew the back of the machine and unplug the speaker. Yes I do have a screwdriver.

not a good idea this is a user not a technician and can do more damage to the copier if he pulls the wrong connector, just look in the users manual like tonermunkeh said this is the safest bet you won't hurt youself or others and won't cause you a hefty repair bill later.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
