Are you using OEM toner? Can you turn the bottle motor in output mode?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

Hello..Thanks again for feedback . The machine is using Ricoh toner for that model...the toner motor is my next part to replace although it does turn in the output mode and seems to be adding toner .

Check ID sensor as well. if coated in toner so only see's black when reading drum patch it will think it is toned ok and not add toner.

Is the drum OEM? We had huge problems with light copies because of compatibles (Katun).

We reverted back to OEM and all the problems went away!
