Helo. Does anyone have a experience with activation, setup and instalation with cap? i have product authorization certificate but when i type it on onlineactivation.net messege from site is to type correct product key.can anyone help me with this ? i have acces to my ricoh. but theres no support doc.

For the cap activation you should do with the help of the REMOTE INSTALL MANAGER. Have you tried it.

It's a easy task as per my view. Please try it and advance wishes for your up coming success .

It's the card reader accessory for authentication. Card Authentication Package.

Are you a technician? This product has its own training course and the installation instructions are available at TSRC/TESSA. There are many steps and no one is going to try and post them here.

If you haven't had training on it, you don't stand a chance. That is unless you are a software whisperer, of course.

It is anything but straightforward, and can be a pain in the arse even for those who are trained and experienced in it.

We've installed it in a few locations, and let's just say we spent a few more hours than were agreed on in the work orders.

If you have access to my Ricoh,go Publications/Security Solution/ CAP/then you can find anything you need regarding,installation or support documentation.

problem solved. i needed remote install manager , not embeded software manager , and i have next question.

its possible to lock print with this soft? or i need ELP ? sorry by my slow english. but i try explai what i mean

i have copier with istalled CAP the prints dont prtint until i swipe card. its is possible ?

Hi dear ,

i understood what you are trying to convey, as per my knowledge you should configure the CAP server , through the CAP try to pull the active directory from the customer server and make ensure your mfp should handshake with the customer's active directory. For that you have to get help from their IT team.
once it's done then u can access the card system.


make sure weather u enabled the "Enhanced Locked Print NX - Secure Printing"".

ELP NX is free soft? i get a license of CAP, and cap is fully worked but how instal ELP NX? it requries different license ?

No, it is not free.

It's not expensive, but not free.

Are You sure? I installed ELP NX v 2.1.2 (cap is same) and the software doesn's start automaticaly, not even manual.
