    sc 220 on ricoh mp 5500

    takes time to print a copy and then a blank copy comes out.

      Laser unit is either dirty or broken. More likely broken, though. Sorry.

          its your flat cable to the laser check or replace

              There isn't any flat cable to the laser in this series(MP 5500), Re-seat connectors on IPU if it doesn't help last resort is LDB, IPU or BCU.
