Ricoh SP CN811DN with 2 issues

I have a Ricoh SP CN811DN with 2 issues. The by-pass tray will only pull paper when there are at least 3 or 4 sheets of paper in the tray. Can this be adjusted?

Also the front door is giving "Door Open" error message when door is closed. After I close it over and over I can eventually get the error to clear. How can I prevent it from happening.

Have you changed the feed tyres / torque limiter on the bypass? The side door harnesses can cause some quite odd door open faults.
