Now the printer screen has gone blank! It was giving me 998 code right before that after taking a long time to boot. I figured it was configuring the drive. But know screen will not light up. Pls someone send me some light!

Still haven't been able to get the machine back up. Pls can anyone send me some ideas as to what to look for?

My tech has the machine now and he says it might be the I/O Board. He doesn't have one to test it with. Is there a way to test the one on the machine? If not where can I find a used one?

Sounds like it is the controller board, the board that the cables from the hard drive connect to. Hopefully that is the I/O board you are referring to.
As for getting a used replacement board, you might post a request here: For Sale, Trade, or Wanted .
