My customer ran their C3333 out of black toner (waited until it said toner end) and when they added new toner (OEM) it cycles through but will not clear the toner end. I tried another new toner, same. cleane the supply tube, toner end sensor and now have the pump back at the shop blowing it out. Any suggestions?

replace the black pump using the yellow pump(to isolate), clean the pump thoroughly. make sure that the tube is clean.Nobody is perfect.. -

well two things, first if it just keeps adding forever and eventually comes up saying empty, check your sp for toner supply, its around 3045 it says toner supply and tells you what is left, if the black reads in the 400's then the machine recognized the bottle and reset which means if its adding continually its the toner pump thats out. If the supply reads like 60s or something then it didnt reset when the bottle was installed and you need to turn off toner detection sp 3045 exit sp and reboot, then turn toner detection back on. Usually though when a new bottle is put in if it didnt reset it wont attempt to add toner at all it just says to replace bottle, if its attempting to load toner its likely the pump, i had 3 pumps on these go out this week alone.Comment

I agree with Council, it's most likely the toner pump. However I have run into a toner bottle that wasn't putting out any toner at all and it was brand new. I would see if any toner is getting out of the bottle first before anything.Comment
