MPC3002 - Default to Black when printing from USB or SD Card
Anyone knows how to default the machine to BW when printing from external memory? I've looked everywhere I could think of and can't find a way to do it.
Thanks!

I've got the manual if you need it, no charge.

Thanks, I got it. I skimmed through the tech manual and the user manual and couldn't find it (if someone tells me it's in the parts manual, then the world is officially over).

Hi hunny, I'm pretty sure I've done this before, is it not done by using the programme defaults button the same as every other default? I'll have to take another look the next time I visit any of the xx02 series machines

Hello beauty! No, I've tried it first - unless I'm really dumb (which is not surprising) it isn't done the usual way.

I thought you probably had done, I probably won't get to see one of these tomorrow now (got to change a drive assembly on an MPC3300, so I won't have time for much else!!), I want to find the answer for you now x

I did get to look at one of these machines yesterday and I couldn't work it out either, I think the time I was thinking about I did it using user codes and blocked colour printing except for authorised users (in a school), sorry I can't help you hunny

Thanks for the effort, Debbie. Either they hid it somewhere under the hood or they did an half-assed job implementing it and forgot to add the option to default it to black. Need to look further.
