Ricoh MP2550 Lanier D425B vibration noise at paper exit.

I have this Lanier with about 225K on it and it makes a loud vibrating rumbling sound at paper exit rollers. This machine has the 1 bin option installed. If someone has had this before which gears are the culprits? It sounds like it is coming from the 1 bin drive assy. but I can't be sure. I guess I could just pull the fuser and replace the H/R gear and what gear drives it. Anyone experienced this before? It doesn't effect operation, it's just very noisy.

I've not experienced this, but it takes less than 1 minute to remove the 1 bin tray, why not try it to isolate the issue?

The noise will be being caused by the exit roller asembly that goes through the centre of the exit unit. Take the exit unit out, remove the roller shaft from inside it and file about 1mm from the slots where the rollers sit. This is the result of the plastic warping from the heat of the fuser. And yes, it does sound like a dying moose.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

Thank you very much. I will do what you said to do. I would have been wasting my time changing gears. It does vibrate the exit rollers. Makes sense to me. Again, thanks.

            Exactly what TonerMunkeh said.
I just did one and spent a lot of time looking at gears and pulling the one bin tray.
A file does the trick nicely.

Also check the PCU if its the original one and not 1027 type had one of these where a new drum, blade & dev were fitted & the two parts of the dev unit were not seated together properly, caused a loud vibration.
