Ricoh 3035 ADF jam with more than 5 pages

I had a coworker try to copy a document today and the adf on our Ricoh 3035 would jam when any amount of pages beyond 5 or so were loaded. It sounded like the roller that feeds the adf was slipping, but I could be mistaken. What are potential solutions to fix this machine?

Are the rollers or belt worn? If so replace, otherwise if they still have a bit of tred you can try cleaning them. Usually IPA is enough to clean them.

If you want to replace then the (original*) codes are: B351-2222 Feed Belt, B351-2126 Pickup Roller (very rare to need to replace), A859-2241 Reverse Roller.

      * May have changed since parts guide was produced.

If it is not the feed tires, you can pull the front panel off the df, and look at the center of the large plastic pulley, it sometimes gets small cracks in it right around the center shaft. The shaft spins inside the pulley causing erratic jams.

I'd go for replacing the belt, feed roller, sep roller and torque limiter before going after clutches. This DF is fairly bulletproof, clutches don't fail on them very often.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.
