[Misc] Ricoh MP2000 Scanner and SMB default settings

    Hi everybody.
In my office we have a MP2000 connected to the lan network. Recently I started to use it as scanner more often, using the SMB option and saving all the scannings on a shared folder on the main group. Problem is every time I switch to Scanner mode I have to select the destination, select SMB, browse the network and finally login in.

Is there any way to set a default destination so that I don't have to do all the searching over and over?
    Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that there has been no "address book" entries programmed already?
In scanner mode, Check the "quick dial" buttons on the left of the op panel (1,2,3, etc.) This are where they get programmed.

If not, log into the Web monitor of the machine / address book / enter name (key display) / folder authentication info (username/password) / and path (//pcname/xxx/etc...)

      Hi sandmanmac,
thanks a lot. I didn't think about the quick dial buttons and after your message I had another reading to the manual. I managed to programme the destination to the address book and now all the process is just one click away. That's super.

      Thanks again for the input.
      Cheers
