Went to change scan default settings but options are missing. So i cant change default from back and white to color scan.

This is user manual stuff.
In ANY mode, you select the settings you want, then press the "Program button", touch "program as defaults'....then follow then rest of the prompts.

You could also check this post (which is immediately below yours at the time I'm writing this), but substitute "colour" for "File type"

Is the machine not in "idiot mode"? There is a light grey button on the right side of the display panel, that if you press it, it makes most of the buttons bigger (but you lose some of the buttons that are normally visible).

Pressing it again makes them the right size and layout again.button.jpg

manual not straight forward on this. I did see where you go to scan then set your defaults and then press program on right top side of op panel and press set as default button. Older copiers were in user tools then scanner. I do appreciate all the help that everyone has given.
