    470 wide format not fusing on right side

    Hi all,

    I have a 470w that is not fusing on the right side of the paper as you face the machine. I changed the hot roller and it worked for a month. The problem returned and I replace the pressure roller and it worked for a month. I changed all bearings and bushings as well. It's only on the right side, the left is fine. I'm going to order fusing lamps and thermistors next because I can't see anything else wrong and can't think of anything else. Anyone else seen or heard of this issue? Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA

    ps Have changed paper roll from different supplier with no change. Paper is stored correctly and does not appear to be moist.

          Fusing pressure can also be adjusted mechanically. Not being real familiar with this exact model I can not give you a detailed adjustment procedure but it is shown in the service manual. Pressure is also controlled on this model via tracking motors. I have worked some on this model and the mechanical adjustments usually take care of the fusing problems

              I checked the pressure adjustments when I changed the rollers and they were in speck. I'll try to make the right side a little tighter than speck and see what happens. Thanx.

                  I went back to the machine and it was running fine. The customer said that it seemed to only do it on long runs. I moved the sensor over by a mm and will see if that helps . I think if the problem retuns I will order and change the sensor and pressure motor. Thanx for the suggestions.

                      Sp 1-914-002.
                      The pressure motor turns 1mm/m in long printing
