    Lanier LD016 supplies

We bought out another company not long ago that use to sell Lanier, so we took over the maintenance on these machines. We are still learning about them. Could someone please tell me where to look up in the manual to find the PM supplies. I'm use to Sharp manuals and haven't been able to find it in the Lanier. I don't want to know part numbers, I'd like to know where to look it up myself, they seem to have hidden it.

    Thanks, Gene
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

PM parts are usually bold in the older Ricoh parts catalogues:

    Drum - B039 9510
    Blade - AD04 2058
    Charger - AD02 7018
    Charger Brush - AD04 2059
    Dev -B121 9645
    Hot Roller - AE01 1113

Anything oddball, let me know, I'll dig it out for you.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Thanks for the numbers, but I really need to know where they hid it in the manuals so I can look it up myself in the future.

        Those part numbers are wrong...

The LD016 (MP 161 Ricoh) is actually an all-in-one PCU, not individual parts since it can also be purchased as a supply item. The item number for the PCU is 411844: Photo Conductor Unit Type 1515. Fuser is rebuildable with a PM Kit: PMB12990K. The part numbers given were for the DLT/A3 capable 2016 family, not this machine.

Ricoh actually separates their Parts Catalogues and Service Manuals: it makes for much easier updates.

(Parts Catalog)PM Parts Index section Detail PM parts and Part Numbers.

And if you need to know the yield of PM,Then Service Manual/PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/PM TABLE.

          Hope that helps!

Again thanks, but what I need to know is, WHERE DO I GO TO LOOK IT UP MYSELF? Thank you.

My parts catalog has no such section, just a parts index. They didn't make this easy.

You need a product support guide for the consumables.
I the parts manual there are separate section i.e. pcu fuser.
As for maintenance kits list you need to get them from Ricoh, or have someone send you them.

Service manual, section 2: preventive maintenance. Has table of units, when to replace, clean or inspect.
Is this what ur looking for?

The PM parts are highlighted throughout the parts manual in bold. The big problem is that the PM Kits are NOT listed in the manuals. They are listed, en masse, in a PM Kit document downloadable from the Ricoh tech support site. They are also usually listed in the Product Announcement documents. These are not included in the service and parts information either, but are also usually available on the web site.

Oh, the LD016 is a good little machine. With the right volume and decent users, you generally put these in place and don't see them again until the first PCU replacement. I actually use the updated MP 171 (LD117) as my main office machine.

Honostly these little machines even from the 1302s to the 415s, LD016, LD117 models are the best running machines i ever see and easy to repair they all use the same PCu, fuser parts except for the Blue exit guide is a bit different from earlier to later models. I just looked at one of these today for jamming i checked our history and the last time we saw it was when we sold it to them 4.5 years ago been under contract since it had a failed feed clutch which is pretty common on these. Ive seen the 45k rated pcus do over 100k in dirty dust barn like offices before I have customers running 20k pages a month on them and we get called to pm it at about 70k, in my experience the more its used the better it runs and most of those 45k pcus will run about 60k before signs of issues, fusers run good just have to clean off the exit sensors once in a while. Any customer i get that has those cheap ass $400 laniers made of junk plastic with crappy cartridges i highly highly recommend they spend a few more bucks and get a LD117 instead.

                              Money makers.
