Ricoh A 270 Document Feeder Scan Error

Use platten glass to copy quality ok , when use feeder to made copy ,The words will be white line , i have try change cable , all the board or feeder assy , but still same problem , need your help , Thanks Your .

Most likely the scanner has gotten pushed down slightly over time from people leaning on the copier, slamming the ADF , etc. Try pulling up firmly on the front, left corner of the scanner. Very common issue across the Ricoh lineup -sometimes 'white' lines, sometimes dark lines.

White lines is usually caused by Using Tippex and getting it on the DF Glass never had a scanner get bent on a Russian machine.

Sandmanman and Bantams i want to say thanks first, cause share your khowledge to everyone , i have sovle this problem i just do ,off machine pull out ADF socket and fix in back , until today customer never call , but i have 1 unit A270 same this problem , made copy at platen glass (continue) image is good , when use ADF to copy same copy image (all words) got blank line . last last the machine for throw .

My product cross reference says the A270 is equivalent to the FT2012+. Is that right? (Sorry, solutions that work for digital machines might not be appropriate for analog machines like that. They really are that different.)

I think we're going on the assumption he's referring to Aficio 270
