    [Misc] sr 5000 staple issue

    Hi guys.

I have an sr5000 finisher that when stapling does not trim the staples on one side leaving a long staple "poking up" . I have swapped the staple unit assy and it worked ok........ until a few hours later. Anyone seen this problem?
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

In the new stapler unit you put Guide - Standard Fence previous unit? if you put this can happen you say
On the other hand, if the same phenomenon with both staple units maybe the problem is not what you have in them, but rather in the media in which it sits. Check sensors hidden in the back that give the stapling position.

I have just been checking in the manual and i think i may have missed that!!! ( the metal plate guard) I swapped over the obvious parts like the solenoid etc but missed this!!!!

Thanks for that (strange how it has worked initially)
