[Misc] MP6500 missing letters when printing ...

    Misc as I say....

    User claims has latest driver?

software upgrade is on the cards as I've just located:
    B2475127H engine 1.15:60
    System/Copy 3.07 B2475101Y

However never heard of this fault I have examples too , the m/c misses out all the "F" "T" "I" letters
The user then sent the same doc from the same pc to a Sharp ( with no issue
Also to add it's not just one user who gets the problem .

    Sounds like a font issue.
Find a document that it does the fault with.
check with your own eyes the driver version and compare to the latest on Ricoh site.
    upgrade all firmware including font.
If you are still having issues then swap a driver from pcl5 to 6 see whst happens.

    Good luck

Update the Printer firmware, latest on Tessa is 3.05 (B8415521L). Version 1.07 (B8415521G) states a correction for missing characters.

'F', 'T' & 'I', sounds like a ligature issue. Are they printing a doc created in Indesign?
