    [Error Code] Ricoh MPC3502 SC-899

    Have a machine that throws an SC-899 only when printing from a certain website, all firmware has been updated. Anyone seen this ?

      Not sure on the 3501, but on the 5501 & 5502 it's usually a PCL font issue. They came out with firmware for the 01's in January that has taken care of the Sc899s in our area. I wouldn't do just the PCL though. I think the printer firmware contains some fonts. I always update all of the firmware together just because I've run into weird issues in the past. I remember one where a tech updated the printer firmware (that he didn't bother to mention) and lost his scanning ability.


      The work around I used until the firmware came out was to change the PCL default font from 0 to 54 (looked about the same). I don't know why that worked, but it did.
