I have a machine (Ricoh mp 4001) that threw this code which is communication error between the ARDF main pcb and the BICU. After swapping out the BICU, SIO, ARDF main board as well as tracing wiring, I found the problem was caused by a fault in the lens assy pcb. it was a strange feedback problem where the lift sensor signal was grounded out. Now it has been running for a couple of weeks and has thrown this code again, it was reset by the customer and is now running, again. I am however concerned that this may be an indication that the new part may fail, which would mean that something else caused the original fault.. has anyone here run into a similar problem?
