Re: ricoh 1045 NETWORK Port is closed
You're networking from a server? You probably want to open either/both of 515 (for LPD/Windows) or 9100 (for CUPS/Raw printing)... but there are others - depends how you're networking it - which printing protocols do you want to use? How is the printer plugged in - to a computer or to an outlet in the wall or into a switch or wirelessly to an WAP? Where are you getting the "port closed" error message from? These answers will tell us if you need to open port(s) on your router/firewall or computer firewall or on the printer itself. DO you have a port specified on the printer in the network configuration? Or are you printing from a program that requires a specific port?
Re: looks like your scan is from a network server - in which case, ports 21 and 110 are normally opened for FTP and POP3. If you don't use FTP or you aren't running a mail server, and they aren't needed for print functions (such as retrieve and print incoming email), you can indeed shut those down. They are listed as being for "possible" trojan use, doesn't mean you are infected and they were opened by rogue processes. Since you have many other expected ports open [for a server], 21 and 110 are probably rightly open for those services.Comment
