[Misc] memory low : copy mp c3300

Hi all!

A customer of mine gets an error when he tries to copy.

memory low: copy is the error message on wim.


The user gets an message on the panel regarding memory full, with the option of being able to print or delete the memory. Whatever they do the error arises on the next attempt.


First error occurred after copying multiple sheets, now message pops up even at single copy. the problem is 3-4 weeks old, have switched off/on , done remote fw update on the engine/copy/system.

Prints seems to work fine.

@remote gives no alerts ...

1024MB memory, document server: 17GB Free space:98%


Must probably drive out and check this machine tomorow. (2 hour drive).

Got any suggestions as to what causes this?

Does the machine have a fax option? If so, does the machine store the faxes instead of printing or relay them to another receiver?

Format HDD solved the problem!

It may have just temporarily solved the problem, as well as erasing the address book. Do this. User tools>scanner settings>print and delete scanner journal. If you have selected "Do not print: Disable send" the journal will fill up again. You need to select "Off" to remedy this once and for all.
