MPC305SP - Does not see any pcdu

We have a brand new MPC305sp that we set up and then used for training. Part of the training involved removing the pcdus and the transfer unit.

This was all done with the power off and the power lead unplugged.

When all was put together, the machine boots, but when it must start the engine it reports that all pcdus are incorrecty installed.

    There are no sc codes.

We have removed and re-installed all the pcdus and the itb several times, with no improvement.

    Any ideas??

I am starting to think that we (inadvertently) damaged a board, as it seems to be a logic problem to me, as there is no visible loom damage or shorts.

Re: MPC305SP - Does not see any pcdu

So far I have changed both the BICU and controller with no improvementIt would seem as if there is some deformation of the contact at the rear of the machine where the pcdu's contact the machine. I have straightened all the right hand contacts that connect to the mag roller bushing, and this has caused the machine to accept all the units except for the black unit....

I am glad to report that the machine is fixed. Then the trainees worked on the machine - they removed the ITU without first removing the pdcu'sWhen I heard this, I removed all the pdcu's and check for anything that was possible bent or deformed at the rear of the frame (where the pdcu's make contact).I found that the mag roller contacts were all deformed towards the right (if viewed from the front).Reinstalled all the pdcu's after adjusting the gap of the contacts and all is well.
