[Jamming] Ricoh 2238c paper tray 1 and 2 exit jam do my head in!

Hello again its the 2238 again, anyhow trays 3 and 4 work fine, swapped 3 to 4 and didnt make a difference, obviously cant swap tray 1 with anything

also did the mod on the trays in case it was something to do with that add paper tray problem ( not that its the problem)


Anyhow i can see the paper picked up and try to leave the tray and then stops


tryas 3 and 4 work fine only trays 1 and 2 have this problem

does the display match the orientation and size of the paper loaded in the trays? Check in user tools that the trays are set to auto detect and then try the paper landscape instead of portrait etc.

AlyetiI checked the manual and see that there is only one paper feed motor. Which means that all the trays are driven through clutches.Have you swopped the paper feed stations of tray 1/2?Sounds like a bum clutch on the 1st paperfeed station to me.
