    Ricoh c5501 fuser bulletin.

    I ordered one of these D089-4019 and the response was "multichain part, please consult bulletin"
    Anybody have this bulletin?
    Will you share it or the contents?

    I had a quick look and couldn't find any information on this fuser.

    They don't give us mod bulletins that tell us what has changed / been improved any more. (not unless it crosses over into a technical bulletin).

    All we get now are these crappy PCIL (Part Change Information Lists) that tell you nothing but replacement part numbers.

    It's sort of turned into a need to know thing... and apparently we don't need to know the finer details about changes lol.

      Latest P/N for fusing unit (120v)at least inEuropean partscatalogues is D0894020 but no explanation about the modification

        Thanks Limo, finaly squeeed the info out of Ricoh, discontinued part with sub D089-4020. I mean, they couldn't just transfer that number o the same PO? WTF? I guess thyey think I got nothing better to do than chase down Part numbers.
        Well, I shouldnt judge other peoples jobs, we all got priorities. But grumble, grumble anyway
