    SC555

Keep getting SC555 error code, tried it with 3 different fusers and it returns after a few hours.

    It's on a Ricoh 3245C...

    Any ideas?

Turn off AOL in user tools, and see if it returns or not...

Would be welcome if one of you're manuals had a solution....

865-01 is a baked HDD if memory serves. Pull it and delete then recreate an NTFS partition, put it back in the machine and do a format. If that doesn't work, the HDD is shot.

With regard to the 555 there is a modified fuser harness that connects the fuser connector in the rear of the machine to the IOB.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                            Hit it.
