    Z1 jams in 1105

I have a customer that is getting a pile of z1 jams I am not sure the specific jam code and will find out today. I have noticed the duplex jogger motor seems to be a bit flakey (sometimes it vibrates during a reset) I am also having a problem with the finisher jogger table exit motor running backward or not starting at all (SR 810). the machine has 5mill plus copies on it. Has anyone else experienced these types of jams and related it to motor failures?
    Thanks

Ok its a jam code 20 (paper not detected at 1 duplex transport sensor) I have replaced the three clutches (the main clutch had come unglued from the centre hub. I have reversed duplex sensor one with duplex sensor three I have replaced the turn guide and cleaned all rubber . Any other suggestions?

    Still jams intermittently

another engineer had a similar problem, the problem was the solenoid intermittently sticking on the gate that's all I can remember.

        Hi

It may be worth checking the actual hinges that the duplex transport gate is attached to, if they are bent it may just be enough to cause the paper to skip over the top of the sesnor without it actuating the flag, also is the top of the flag worn? had this causing jams but only on the sensor just before it goes into the transport. (Top, under the entrance to the duplex).

        Thanks

One of the gears at the back (drive) of a duplex unit has a one-way bearing on it. Worth checking. Had a similar problem several times every couple of millions prints at MP1350's, but can't remember the particular jam code. Definitelly related to duplex unit though. Regards
