    RT43 combined with Ricoh A2060

    Hi,
did someone already had problem with RT43 combined with Ricoh Aficio 2060?
Problem with paper jam occurs sinceday of montage machine.
I already replaced gear on separation axle as this mentions MB but problem stays.
Can someone helps me to solve this problem, thank you!

They are supported on the B140 according to Ricoh's support guide and I have seen them work also.
Ricoh & Microsoft may pay the bills but Un*x saves my ass every day.
    MCSE/CCNE/ENS and other crap...

How many copies has the machine done?

If the machine's already done between 1000k and 2000k (depending on what paper's put through it) the LCT guide plate and relay mylars might be worn and need replacing.

Crappier rougher paper kills these faster than nicer smoother paper. I've known them to crap out at 700k

Then what you need to do is replace the following:-

            B140-2675 - Option Tray Guide Ass'y

            and

            B140-2647 - Open and Close Guide Ass'y

They are both in the 1060/2060 parts manual, page 72 items 9 and 23 (for the C2 model obviously)

First of all to confirm these as the culprits, flip down the "B" guide and look at the black mylar in the paper path between the top of the inverter and the registration roller, if this looks worn (white folds almost in the black plastic) then it needs to be replaced, if the machine's done 2000k without having these replaced and you are getting constant jams from the LCT as paper enters the machine then I'd put money on this being the culprit.

This isn't too hard of a job as long as you take your time and either make a good mental note of where everything you remove goes and connects to. The first time I did one it took me three hours, I've now got it down to an hour.

BTW. It doesn't matter how old the LCT is or how long it's been installed on the machine, these guides wear just the same.
