Pro 550 ITB

Pro 550 which is same as MP C6000 (as far as I can tell).

ITB is locking up and throwing a SC 445

When you pull out the ITB it is physical locked up. Free it and re-install and it runs fine, but will

eventually lock back up. This is the second ITB for the machine and we have replaced the motor.

Only thing I can think of is that they had a bad run on ITB's but none that I know of.

When it locks up paper is always in same spot.

This may not be much help as I haven't worked on a pro 550, but on a mpc7501 there is a 6 step procedure on coating the belt with lubricating powder (zinc stearate) to avoid flipping the cleaning unit blades, which would lock the unit up.
