[Misc] slow feeding on double-sided copying only

Hello:
This mp 6001 copier is slow when using the top feeder on double sided only. Single siding is normal.
The originals feeds 2 then waits, then feeds a few more, then waits then completes. No codes, no jams.

If scanning to Doc Server or scanning out to the network, the speed is normal, single and double sided.

There is another mp 6001 at the location which works normally. I have compared the SMC reports to see but i cant find any settings that are different.
I have turned off "fuser idling" but no change. Latest firmware installed, no change. Havent done anything to the Hdd yet.

Co-incidentally, on this same slow copier, i cant find the "new job" button. The other copier has it. Not sure if this is related to the slow problem but i'd like to be able to enable the "new job" button. Does Anyone knows how?

Try swapping the RAM boards and HDD over between the good and bad machines. The new job & double sided; scans and stores the new document in memory, this will either be a swap file on the HDD or directly in RAM; so these are the first places I would look.

Thank you Ruben. I dont have the permission to swap components but i could try formatting or replacing the Hdd instead.
I'll hold off trying the RAM sticks for now and wait to try some easier fixes first, thanks again.
