Functional problem (Restart ), This is the message that appeared on the display. I cannot enter into simulation it seems that it was disabled. After pressing Restart, the machine will operate normally, but after a hundred copy, it comes back again... How I'll be able to enter into simulation, and what is the remedy for this functional problem?

You have some SC code.Go to SP mode c 1 0 7 C and print smc report on 5-990-004 .Here are have sc history and see how is last sc code.
I have this proble whit one machine hidden sc code is 494 and 495.

But I cannot access SP mode. All the buttons are working but, when I enter c107c nothing happen. I think the technician before who happened to be working under the legitimate dealer of this machine disabled the access of SP mode. I need to resolve first the problem on how to enter SP mode. I need help.

yes this happens due to sc 495 when toner clogged in toner supply path and machine can not get proper amount of toner in development unit.after 70 or 100 copies machine will generate sc code or only will show functional problem and go to restart screen.solution is to clean toner supply path from toner tank (small) to toner hopper.wish u good luck

This could happen with SC 990 or 991 if you are too far past a 500K PM service.

Service mode lock


􀂄 With Service Mode Lock enabled, the SP and PP modes
are locked and cannot be used.
􀂄 Only available when Administrator Authentication is enable
just access user tool (pressing counter key written 123) and make service mode lock setting to ......OFF..... in administrator tool manu and make administrator authentication off

Are you sure you are using the blue "C" key and not the red key as the final button? It is not yellow 107 red on those.
