    MPC 4500 scans folder

Hi, All. I have a customer that access their scans from a scans folder>sub folders with the user names. One of these users wants to keep anyone else from viewing her folder she sends her scans to. What is the best way to do this? The scans folder resides on their server.

If it's a Windows server, have an admin change the permissions for her folder to allow only her access to the folder. The problem with this is that if the machine uses any other credentials besides her to access the folder the scans won't go through. So if there's a machine account used to access the folder it will also need permissions to read and write.

The IT guy for the account finally showed up and said he would take care of it. Good. I dislike messing with anybody's server. Too many liability issues.

Good thinking on that: I'll do anything and everything on my servers, but on a customer's it's backseat driving all the way!
