    Ricoh MPC5000

    HI,
Got a weird quality problem on an MPC5000 !
Only when copying duplex sometimes strange dots appears at the the end of the paper.
See the pictures. Strange, because it is not on every paper, say twice on ten copies.
Customer uses the book mode a lot and have to check everytime on these dots.

Can't figure it out where its coming from, checked heater, transfer, edge erase margins etc etc

Hope that someone give me an hint here

    Thanks in advance

          Hi,

unfortunately, despite the PDF file, I've done all the instructions that the file
said to do. But there is no improvement, contrary.

hereby two new results after the procedure as said in the PDF file.
          Someone a clue . . . ??

Honestly those look like grease stains...meybe it's just the pics.
Looks to me like we are still uncertain what is actualy causing it...try doing about 10 to 15 consecutive copyes...meybe even blank papers, and interupt it opening the front doors.
Look at the pappers jamed inside, perhaps one will show you what's causing it,dust inside machine transfers on paper random...give it a few shots.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

a wax drip in the fuser (from the toner) will cause a grease stain, only seen it once a few years ago
