    Wavy lines on a C5000

Black copies look good. Color copies are not overlapping. Good density on all colors. When I run a cross hatch pattern, the lines are wavy, in addition to being out of sync.
Replaced the ID sensor, replaced the ITB belt, no change. Line position adjustment reports "not complete" and Hidden SC is 285.
    What the heck?

Sounds like the next step would be to do a coarse and fine LD beam adjustment, then try line position again. I had to do this on a different model last week, and it worked.

"coarse" completes OK, but fine will not complete.

I had to run both 3 times to get a successful result, but it remedied the problem. Actually, the manual says to keep doing it until it works. Kinda cheesy, and as I said it is a different machine.
