Ricoh 9000 .. tsb 029 .. jam code 021

Could someone pleas tell me what TSB 029 is on the B234-17. Customer is getting a lot of 021 jams at job start up, then ok for long runs. We cleaned one way bearings and did a few other things but it still persists. the GG points me to tsb 029 but Ricoh disabled my tech id a few years ago so I can't look it up

B234 TSB 29 in a nutshell says clean the guide plate (P/N B2344163) every service call...

Bummer, I thought it would be something more substantial. We already know to do that. I wonder why this machine keeps jamming? J021 coming out of the fuser.

had the same problem few months ago..... i replaced the fuser guide plate with one for the Pro1106 Ex, (looks the same, but it wasn't)....and now it works....check also the exit sensor on the lower guide plate.

You say you have cleaned the one way bearings, every time I have this issue I have replaced all the one way bearings for the heat pipe and exit transport rollers, it only needs to slip a fraction to lose drive and throw jam 21. there are about 3 gears with one way bearings and I now replace them every 2 mill as they seem prone to failing.
