    MP4000 Fusier Web Modification

    I have a copy of a document that shows how to mod the fusers of the MP4000/5000 etc. to use an oil roller rather than replacing the WAY over-engineered Cleaning web.
    It calls for using an Aficio 1055 (P/N AE04 0051). The trouble is, it's been discontinued, and I'm having difficulty getting my hands on one. Is there another roller that can be used instead? C3500? or 3245C?

    You could try a 0042 from a Venus, that might fit.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

          Thanks for the input. Seems like we have a bit of a consensus here. I'll let it run without the web.

                Yes, Supervisor!

                Sandmanmac has contributed a lot to this forum, so I find your post quiet rude! And it looks like you've never replaced the cleaning web on this machine...

                With these SP-settings you can extend the cleaning web life :

                SP1902-03 (Web Motor Time) -> 1.5
                SP1902-04 (Web Near End Setting) -> 95%

                              I didn't see it either. Apparently it has been removed. If Debs hadn't replied with quote, we wouldn't even know what he had said.
