    Ricoh MPC 5000 fusing issue

Have a customer that runs jobs and can rub off the image on copy at the front and rear of the copy, not lead edge trail edge. Replaced the Heat roller and it improved about 50%. is there any way to up the temp on these rollers or is there a problem with heat stabilization at the ends of the rollers?

Did you change the thermistors, are old ones dirty?
What kind of heating roller did you instaled,Oem or For use?
Allso you shuld check if machine overtonered, check the values of Vsp and Vsg,pehaps machine uses too much toner to form a copy...usualy happend when developer ran it's course.
Check the pressure on heating roller,is it evenly distributed.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

Thermistors good.OEM hot roller. Am now reading some threads that deal with this prob in past. your right though the Toner density is heavy.

what is the thikness of the paper ?
if it is 80gms and the ink rub off then it can be pressure on the fuser unit

if it is 120gms and higger , set ur copier to a thicker paper size

Also make sure genuine toner is in the machine, copy toner sometimes causes issues similar to this. Otherwise the end windings in the IH coil may be iffy although most of the time this triggers an sc.

I don't see a coil on this machine just a regular lamp.

An MPC5000 Has a coil on the machines chassis, where the fuser slides into. It has three windings controlled by relays on the back, one middle and one at each end.
