SSL Certs again

I've managed to get the certs stuck in non-existent-mode, so my new Ricoh 7300 goes straight to an un-connectable webpage again...

Please can anyone help me clear this one?

Admittedly I've not asked them, I'm living on a shoestring and haven't got a bank-number I can use to give them any engineer-time....
I cleared all the settings on the engine in an attempt and as a result have had to spend *all day* getting the colour-correction cycle to run so now we have alignment again..! I had to clean the belt, top-roller and the registration-sensors to get the adjustment routine to run if that helps anyone... Just keep cleaning and dusting until it runs, and now *everything is apples* print wise....

Except I still can't use the webpage to talk to it... I've browsed a whole load of telnet-commands with nothing... Set ssl down doesn't help, and set http down does nothing either...


I've looked on the SD card with nothing obvious to alter cert wise....Just out of interest, is it worth me trying to boot a laptop off the SD card? It's only x86 unix by the looks of it, I'm intrigued to know if anyone has tried it...?

I do *love* my printers, better than pets I can keep showing them how much I Love them by printing lovelyl stuff on them and feed and watering them as they need.... When they go wrong I make bits out of them, just ask and I'll share plans and code

You may have to install a new certificate. First thing is to obtain a certificate to install.
Mozilla Firefox

a. Open Firefox.
b. Select [Tools] => [Options].
c. Click the [Advanced] Tab then select [View Certificates].
d. Click on the [Authorities] tab.
e. Scroll through the list Until you see [Equifax].
f. Select [Google Internet Authority] then select the [Export] button.
g. Select a location to [Export the Certificate] then click [Save].
h. Click [OK] to close the Certificate Manager.

Internet Explorer

a. Open internet Explorer.
b. Select [Internet Options].
c. Select the [Contents] tab then select [Certificates].
d. Select the [Trusted Root Certificates Authorities] tab.
e. Scroll the list and locate [Equifax Secure Authority Certificate].
f. Click the [Export] button.
g. Click [Next] in the Wizard.
h. Select [Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER)] and click [Next].
i. Click the [Browse] button and choose where to save the certificate and name the file, then
click [Save].
j. Click [Next] in the Wizard, then click [Finish].
k. A message should appear that the export was successful. Click [OK].
l. Click [Close] to close the [Certificates] window, click [OK] to Exit Internet Option.

In your browser, enter the IP address of the Ricoh Family group device.
Click [Login] and login as Administrator. Usually admin and no password.
Click on the [Configuration] link.
Under the [Security Section], click on [Site Certificate].
Click on the [Browse] button and navigate to the location where you saved the certificate.
Click on the import button. Once completed, the certificate will appear under Imported Site Certificates. Click [OK], then close Web image Monitor.

You may have to install a new certificate when the existing one expires.
