    Scanrouter v2 lite suddenly has suddenly "stopped" working

    Hi! I've got strange problem with scanning for about few days with two 2018D machines, but in different locations. Machine downloads settings from scanrouter server properly (delivery IP, address book etc.), also scanrouter servers detects machine in LAN. Until recently, everything worked, but now, when I wan't to scan something, scanned document is just vanishing. It leaves a machine (100% memory free and there are no errors),




    but does not reach the server. There is also no informations on SR logs.



    I tried to:

    clear settings on machines (UCS etc.)
    switch firewalls and AV programs off on server
    reinstall scanrouter.

    It doesn't help. Two different locations, machines, nets and the same problem. Is the some windows update could be the cause?

      Steele SR and SR lite have not been supported by Ricoh for at least 5 years now. As for windows updates, Hell yes.. XP SP3 killed hundreds of SR lite installs.

          I understand it's not supported, but it's based on a FTP protocol which is still used in many software and hardware. There is no error message and no scans. It's strange.

              When it is installed and you force updates, it will stop working even if it is FTP protocol. You have to try new software. There are a lot of free scanning software, but if it works with a 2018 you just have to try.

                  I would try uninstalling(delete all the files\folders too) scanrouter and then reinstalling...

                      Reload the install program and tell it to repair.
                      You can't just uninstall it.
                      Why do they call it common sense?

                      If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
