[Misc] Pro 1357 ex keeps shutting down

The machine displays the message like "functional problem detected. Restart the machine after the current process". This problem started few months after installation and it is random in nature in terms of frequency of occurence during copy or print run. It may occurs within 20, 50, 100 prints. I have run the latest firmwares update and this problem continues. I will very much appreciate if someone can proffer solution.

you say you have installed the latest firmware but you haven't printed off an smc to look at the error code that's giving the problem

How many copies are on the developer, drum cleaning unit, and charge coronas. Check the log data to see if you are getting SC 990 at the same time as the restart, it is past time for a 500K PM.
