    Ricoh C2051 SC852 error code

    Two things on Ricoh Aficio C2051 color copier:
    1. SC852 shows up. Don't have the manual. Paul?

    2. Can't scan to Win 8 machines

    Anyone help with this? Thanks in advance to all copier brothers and sisters.

      Helpfully enough, SC852 isn't listed in the service manual. It skips from 851 to 853. Does this machine have a wireless option in it? Where it is in the SC codes is around the "wireless lan card not detected" area.

      With regard to Windows 8 scanning, the machine requires the updated Network Support fimware (if it's been released).
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

              Update the Network firmware to version 10.63 (D1055745H). But first; make sure System/Copy is at least 2.06 (D1055730L) or greater.
