I have a customer with Ricoh 550 copier machine that is getting code SC101 2to3 times a day,but the machine reset's by turning the machine off/on.If it's not the exposure or white plate then what?? I need help Please!!!

Could be BCU Board, Lamp Regulator, or maybe a displaced mirror. -

Going back a bit here with this model, if my memory serves me right, there are a few issues with the scanner drive.
The screws that sit on the scanner drive pulley in the middle snap.
As said on the previous post, the mirror can come out of alignment and also break at the corner due to a faulty scanner board and scanner drive motor. (rtb about it I think), it scans to quickly and rams the mirror into the side of the machine causing the mirror to dislodge.
The above can also show sc120 errors too.
You may want to check the alignment of the scanner rails as I seem to remember these causing various issues too.
