Re: Moving Post Script Option ?
I haven't worked on Ricoh's for a couple of years but you used to be able to copy it back to a SD card and remove it from the machine. There was a procedure for it in the field service manual. Don't know if that is still true or not.Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?Comment

Re: Moving Post Script Option ?
You could move applications onto the Postscript card, but the card is copy protected (probably a hidden partition) so you can't copy the Postscript data off the card.Comment

Umm...think you guys are looking too much into this. If you want to remove Postscript from the machine, turn machine off and remove the card. then fit it to any other MP5000 you want.
The card cant be copied and has to go into slot one.Comment

Re: Moving Post Script Option ?
The card can be moved to another machine but first you need to remove (undo exec, SP5873-002) any applications that have been moved to the PS card. This is what prevents it from being installed on another machine.sigpic
