    [Jamming] mpc 3000 paper jamming in the fixing unit

    hello , in ricoh mpc 3000 , paper stuck in the fixing unit, first print looks good and it pass normal
    ,second print looks rough in touch and it pass normally , after that third and fourth all jam in
    the fixing unit, heater roller , belt and pressure roller look normal , metal heater guide and its springs are not good , can you please insight me , thank you

    Sounds to me like a new oil roller and cleaning roller are in order

      I'd go along with what sandmanmac said, if you want to save money the you can clean the Cleaning roller with a sharp knife & a scouring pad, its metal and durable so will last, but the oil rollers need to be changed on a regular basis (Make sure you get it the right way round as well), There suppose to last 160k but your lucky if you get half that depending on what type of work the customer does.

        If they look good, that doesn't mean that they are good.

        How many pages has the fusing unit done?
