Ricoh MP C4500 Add yellow toner issue

Hi all!!

I have a Ricoh Aficio MP C4500 that keeps saying "add yellow toner". I have replaced the toner pump, drum, developer and toner. The last time I replaced the developer and it went away for a few days and now it back. I am thinking hopper but wanted some input before I go out again.

You should be able to see the Hopper gears turning in input/output mode with the back cover off & controller opened. i would go for the pipe, take off and vac out. you could try checking the Toner supply Clutch B223 3457 & Cleaning/replacing. or Drive Clutch AX20 0299 or Drive Motor AX06 0308. hope this helps

Had this problem couple of weeks ago and there's alot of advice about what to do. I changed the dev, drum, toner pump, the connecting pipe, dev clutch, dev gear, motor, toner, sensor at the back of the toner and connecting board. But nothing worked. In the end I tried this (see attachment) from another thread and has been working perfectly since.
