Lanier 228 blured black copies

Hi guys, i have a 228c that when printing out in black , looks a bit blurry (double imaged) One of my collegues has done some resets on this machine, now it seems to have this trouble.

I have no smc of the previous settings, any ideas?

i had this problem after an engineer did a memory clear and i had to play around with the laser beam pitch(easiest thing to do would be to see if sp values are still on top of the laser, if not get another machine and copy thesp settings for the laser!

Cheers Tony and thanks for the quick reply, i managed to quiz the engineer and we got to find the original smc sheet, that contained the pitch settings which got reset, entered in the settings and voila!!

Out of curiosity, where are the settings on the laser itself (pitch settings) as the manual is a bit sketchy on the location of the decal.
